Access to Finance Summit for Women-Led MSMEs
According to Pricewaterhouse Cooper (PwC), women in Nigeria account for 41 percent of the ownership of micro-businesses in the country. Women entrepreneurs are boosting industries, fostering innovation, and creating jobs all across the world. However, they are frequently limited by systemic challenges including limited access to finance or capacity-building opportunities, and they also encounter severe legal, cultural, and societal difficulties in many low-income nations. The Access to finance summit will unlock financial opportunities available to women-led Medium scale medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Nigeria. It will provide a shared platform for diverse stakeholders, and financial institutions to expose opportunities for women businesses to secure funding and boost economic growth in Nigeria.
SOCIAL MEDIA FOR SOCIAL GOOD SUMMIT AND AWARD 2022
The 2022 edition of the Social Media For Social Good Award will be dedicated to uncovering women and women-led organizations across Africa using social media for social good by rewarding their efforts with the public accolade and financial grants. Our aim Is to encourage media and micro-influencers across Africa to use their social media platforms for good.
The 3rd edition of this event will feature an open call for nomination, a capacity-building summit, and an award ceremony. It is scheduled to hold in November in Lagos, Nigeria.
